Őseink bő ezer éve Európa polgárai és ma is azokon a helyeken élünk, ahol első közösségeink akkor otthont alapítottak. A történelem megváltoztatta felettünk a határokat, de nem akarunk mások lenni, mint magyarok és európaiak. Kényszerűen tudomásul vesszük, hogy milliók közülünk nem az anyaállam, Magyarország határai között és joghatósága alatt élnek. De van, amihez ragaszkodunk! Az Európában másutt már természetes személyi, kulturális és területi autonómia, vagy ha úgy tetszik, önrendelkezés és önkormányzatiság jogaival - nyelvünk, kultúránk, hagyományaink és természetes etnikai körülményeink megőrzésének szabadságával - rendelkezhessünk Európa bármely államában!

From Catalonia we add, with enthusiasm, to this initiative by recognizing the national regions gives an insight into two basic ideas of a democratic society: the defense of cultural diversity and the principle of subsidiarity.

Thanks to citizen initiatives like this, Europe will become increasingly the vanguard of democracy.
